PostSubject: Boiler won't fire up?   Sat Nov 26, 2011 3:32 am

I believe it is a Acleis n GLM23- 2H
I am in France so the booklet is somewhat confusing but what makes it really useless
is the lack of information.
I tried to install a radiator last week and the pressure somehow built up so much that the mains water pipe burst. That has now been repaired and the system is sealed up again minus the radiator but since the burst pipe the boiler won't ignite.
It has an electronic ignitor but I cant see any manual ignitors.
It runs on Natural gas.
It was last working a few days ago before the pipe burst.
The thermostat is turned to off. The heating system is turned off.
When I turn it on the light flashes a few times as normal then goes off, the water runs through normally but there is no ignition.

The plumber who came round said to me it was too powerful to run a single radiator
but when I took off the casing there is a clear diagram which shows you can run 1,2 or 3 radiators.
I'm not sure how to adjust for that though. The diagram is on a bosch part with a turnable screw on the front of it.

I don't know what else I can add.
I'm only online for an hour or so every day so my replies may take a while.
